What is AP Potential?
Hello Cowboy Scholars,
AP Potential is based on research that uses your performance within specific sections of PSAT-related assessments or the SAT to predict which AP courses you would likely succeed in.
Your SAT Suite of Assessments Score Report displays AP courses for which you have potential.
How to Access AP Potential?
- Log in to the online score reporting portal.
- Log in here to your College Board account.
- Open a score report.
- Open your SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, or PSAT 8/9 score report.
- Go to the very bottom of the report under Next Steps. Click Get Your Personalized AP Course Recommendations.
- The table shows the AP courses you might do well in based on your test scores.
- You’ll also see which of the courses are offered in your school. They’re indicated with a check mark.
- An X will appear next to any course you’ve already taken, or that isn’t offered at your school.
- If you select a college major from the menu, you can also view whether each AP course is relevant to that major.
Please visit the link to the 2024-2025 course selection resources on our website: Academic Pathways / Core Courses and Resources
