Hello Tedder Students and Family,

I am pleased and honored to serve as your new School Guidance Counselor at Tedder Elementary. I aim to create a safe and welcoming learning environment for all students and families, teach students to be kind and respectful to everyone, encourage students to work hard to reach their dreams, and never give up.  I am passionate about helping students recognize their potential regarding academic achievement and social emotional development. Some activities include classroom guidance, small groups for skill mastery, individual counseling for students with specific needs, referral services and a variety of other proactive and innovative ways to support student performance. I am enthused about working with teachers, students, and parents to reach this common goal – Student Success and the health and well-being of our students and community.

Please talk with your child about what is means to treat people with kindness and respect.  Encourage your child to make smart choices every day and to be aware of their surroundings.  It is important to remind your child that they come to school ready to learn, have fun and be safe!  If you need help or assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.
