Planning and Scheduling – serves and supports all schools, administrative sites, and trade groups. The department’s primary role is to facilitate projects and tasks by keeping an open line of communication with the schools and trade groups. The department handles project review and verification, project design and permit acquisition, vendor work verification, work order backlog assessment, Tiger Team work scope and schedule coordination, summer pre-apprentice internship organization, large-scale initiative planning and tracking, contract service collaboration, and Weekend/Holiday/Summer Stand-by Program organization. Planning and Scheduling also provides administrative support to the Hurricane Shelter Programs. Below are the benefits provided by the department.

The department falls under the supervision of a Business Process and Performance Improvement Manager. It is supported by one Supervisor, three Project Coordinators, three Schedulers, and one Clerk Specialist B Confidential.
