Happy New Year Royal Palm Families!
As we welcome a new year and a fresh semester, I want to take a moment to thank you for your ongoing partnership in supporting your child’s education. Together, we are creating an environment where every student can thrive and achieve their best potential.
Since August, we have had several accomplishments. We have been recognized as a Florida Positive Behavioral Intervention Silver Supports Model School. With our strong PBIS framework in place, we are developing skills, making improved system changes to our school environment, acknowledging We are excited about this recognition!
We have hosted several academic family nights such as our Trunk and Treat STEAM Night and our Jingle Tales Literacy Night, serving our scholars and the surrounding community with over 500 in attendance.
Our food pantry continues to meet the needs of our families and students. Allowing greater access to both perishable and non-perishable items. We also continue to distribute fresh produce each month.
This past semester, we conducted our FAST (Florida Assessment of Student Thinking) and iReady assessments to track students' academic progress in key areas such as Reading and Mathematics. These assessments provide valuable insights into each student’s strengths and areas for growth, helping us tailor our instructional strategies to meet their individual needs.
Here are some key highlights from our recent assessment data:

· FAST ELA Reading Proficiency Monitoring (PM) 2: 25% of students demonstrated proficiency, showing a significant improvement from PM 1 with a growth of 14%.
· ELA i-Ready Proficiency: 31% of students demonstrated proficiency (an increase from 14% proficiency).
· FAST Mathematics Proficiency Monitoring (PM) 2: 17% of students demonstrated proficiency, reflecting a notable increase from PM 1, which shows a growth of 14%.
· Math i-Ready Proficiency: 26% of students demonstrated proficiency (an increase from 7% proficiency).

While we celebrate these achievements, we remain committed to continuous improvement. We recognize that each child’s learning journey is unique, and our goal is to ensure that every student feels supported and empowered to succeed.
