Greetings, my name is Shinita Coachman-Beavers, and I am excited to be your Principal at Walker Elementary. I have been an educator for 27 years in Broward County Public Schools in various capacities (Teacher, Literacy Coach, and Administrator). As a Principal, I lead as a servant leader. My beliefs are when their team members feel personally and professionally fulfilled, they produce higher quality work more efficiently and productively. The school community satisfaction and collaboration are important concepts in servant leadership that helps promote success .

I continue to excel and prosper with my husband and daughters by my side. My core values for my family also carry over into my professional life as well. I truly believe my staff, students, and parents are my family. They are treated with dignity, respect, and pure love. With these core values, it helps me achieve and excel my educational goals.
