  • Ilianna Polatos-Quintero, Assistant Principal - 12th Grade

    School Counseling Department

    Ms. Polatos-Quintero is very excited to be a part of the Cooper City High administration team. She has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Ms. Polatos-Quintero is a lifelong learner.  She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Curriculum and Instruction at Barry University.  She is very passionate about education.  Her goal is for all students to be afforded extended learning opportunities to support their future life goals.  She is committed to educating all students to reach their highest potential.

  • Jessica VanDusen, Assistant Principal-12th Grade

    Class of 2025 - Juniors

    Curriculum and Instruction: Mathematics, Exceptional Student Education (ESE), AICE Cambridge

    Ms. VanDusen is extremely excited to join the Cooper City High School family and serve as an assistant principal. She is a Western Michigan University graduate, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education. Ms. VanDusen began her teaching career in Arizona, teaching middle school, followed by teaching and coaching high school in Michigan. Since moving to South Florida, she has taught and been math support at the elementary level and received her Master's in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University. Ms. VanDusen is enthusiastic about returning to the high school level and ensuring that all students receive the education and skills they need to succeed in life beyond CCHS. She looks forward to collaborating with the families of Cooper City to prepare students for their bright futures.  

  • Fabian Calero- Assistant Principal - 11th Grade

    Curriculum and Instruction: CTACE: Career Technical Education and Programs; World Languages; Social Studies; NJROTC

    Mr. Calero is excited to be a part of the Cooper City High School family as an Assistant Principal. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s in biology. In 2001, Mr. Calero started teaching Science in middle school in Miami-Dade County, followed by teaching in Broward County since 2006 at the middle and high school levels. He received his Master's in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University. Mr. Calero is looking forward to meeting all the students at CCHS and preparing for a fantastic year at his new home.  

  • Amira Britton Pollard - Assistant Principal - 10th Grade

    Amira Britton is enthusiastically committed to ensuring all scholars meet their full potential at Cooper City High School. Amira began her commitment to education by receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida. With a desire to meet the needs of all students, she continued her education at Nova Southeastern University and earned a Master of Science degree in Reading Education. With school spirit, dedication to seeing all students succeed, and a passion to lead, she continued her education by earning an additional degree from Florida Atlantic University, specializing in Educational Leadership. Amira continues to collaborate with staff, parents, and community members to ensure the success of all students.

    Percita Goedschalk is committed to ensuring the success of Cooper City High School students, both during their high school years and in preparing for their future. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Florida International University and worked as a chemist for five years before transitioning into education.

    With 16 years of experience as a Chemistry Teacher, Percita was passionate about making science accessible and engaging for all students. In 2019, she earned her master’s degree in educational leadership from Barry University, further strengthening her ability to create impactful learning environments. 

    Percita is dedicated to fostering an engaging and supportive atmosphere where students can thrive. She is deeply invested in their academic growth, critical thinking, and personal development. Beyond her work with students, she is committed to inspiring greatness among her colleagues, believing in the power of collaboration, mentorship, and continuous professional development to enhance education.
