What is the IB-Student Ambassador Program?
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Student Ambassador Program is a leadership opportunity for students who are dedicated to serving and representing the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes at Boyd H. Anderson High School (BAHS). Student Ambassadors provide campus tours, serve as an IB-BAHS representative and perform duties at various BAHS campus and community events, on behalf of the IB-Programmes.
What does an IB-Student Ambassador do?
- Welcome and greet prospective IB students at Boyd H. Anderson High School
- Provide various services and referrals to the IB Program
- Develop an expanded knowledge of the IB MYP and/or DP at BAHS.
- Conduct campus tours for new students, schools, classes and guests.
- Represent the BAHS-IB Programs during school events.
- Assist with IB duties and tasks related to events put on by various BAHS departments.
- Work with diverse populations and provide tips on being a successful IB students
- Attend regular ambassador meetings and required trainings.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Must be a currently enrolled Boyd H. Anderson High School student.
- Must be currently enrolled in at least one IB-Course the quarter the position would begin.
- Must have a quarterly and cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
- Position has a one academic year commitment. (Fall-Spring)
- Demonstrate strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit leadership, initiative, dependability, discipline and enthusiasm.
