Extended School Year (ESY) Services

-
The Extended School Year (ESY) Program provides special education and related services to students with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) who meet the state criterion beyond the 180-day school year. Under the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), school districts must provide ESY services if the student requires those services in order to receive a free and appropriate public education. School-based IEP teams will utilize data from the academic year to determine ESY special education and related services for eligible students.
