Mrs. Meyer grew up in New York. As a child she enjoyed playing school, of course she always played the role of the teacher. She earned her Bachelors in Plattsburgh, NY just south of the Canadian border, brrrrrrrrrr! After college, she married her 'just out of high school' sweetheart, Charles. In 2005, her daughter Arianna joined the world and changed their lives forever. Becoming a mother, further emphasized her desire to become a teacher. She enjoyed witnessing her grow through exploring her surroundings and embracing challenges. While caring for her beautiful baby, Mrs. Meyer earned her Masters Degree in Elementary Education. On Leap Year in 2008, her son, Joey, joined in on the fun!
In 2011, she decided to move to sunny Florida to escape the long winters in New York. Mrs. Meyer absolutely loves living in Florida! She enjoys wearing flip flops and swimming year round! In the long summer months, when she is missing her students and colorful classroom, she enjoys traveling and do-it-yourself projects.
Fun facts about Mrs. Meyer: she ran a full marathon, traveled to Italy, is a fitness instructor, creates three dimensional cakes, and so much more! Mrs. Meyer has the mindset that there is little that cannot be accomplished if you are passionate about it and determined to succeed!
