Dear North Fork Family,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you and your family to another amazing year at North Fork Elementary School. I am excited to build upon the extraordinary things that we implemented last year. Each day will be filled with new experiences for our scholars to enhance their academic achievement. Our program will continue to be centered around high expectations for every child and we will ensure that we provide the right atmosphere for that to take place.

The teachers and staff members are well equipped to serve our scholars and they will engage in continuous improvement through their participation in various forms of professional development throughout the year. Topics will include student engagement, instructional delivery, data analysis, checking for understanding, the Science of Reading, and curriculum alignment with the B.E.S.T. Standards.

Each year we celebrate a theme. This year’s theme is “Leveling Up Our Learning!” Throughout the school year, our staff and students will be using this theme to motivate, encourage, and guide us as we continue our relentless pursuit of our goals.
