    Pines Lakes Family,

It is with the greatest enthusiasm that I welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year at Pines Lakes
Elementary where we are “Ready To Learn From The Inside Out”. This is the most unprecedented
school opening that any of us have ever had, or probably will ever experience. Our focus is the
safety and overall welfare of all stakeholders, which is why we are beginning the school year in a
100% virtual eLearning world. “Pines Lakes Elementary is committed to providing a happy, caring
and stimulating environment where children will recognize and achieve their fullest potential”,
    even in our eLearning space.
As we begin our year 100% virtual eLearning, I want to assure you that we will continue to on our
mission in “Preparing the next generation to be problem solvers and innovative thinkers through
S.T.E.M. project-based learning.” Research has identified many 21st century skills that our students
need in order to be successful in life. Some of these skills include critical thinking, communication,
collaboration, creativity, problem-solving and ethics, and accountability, all of which our students
    experience here at PLE.
For returning families, I look forward to seeing you all (virtually) and continuing to serve you, and
the entire Pines Lakes community. For families new to Pines Lakes, I am excited to meet you and
your child, and know that we are all here to support your child in transitioning to our amazing
school. Our staff and school community are all committed to providing the best educational
experience for your child at Pines Lakes regardless of the circumstance. I ask that you let us know
    how we can help!
If you haven’t done so already, please take the time to visit our schools website at Please contact me with any questions and/or
concerns, I am more than happy to assist you.
