Dear Sanders Park Elementary Families,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!  I am excited to welcome our returning and new families to the Amazing Sanders Park Elementary (SPE).  I am proud to be your principal and a special welcome to Ms. Desire our new Assistant Principal.  Our theme for this year is GAME ON: Can’t Stop; Won’t Stop.  This is reflective of our ongoing commitment to providing students with academic excellence and the best learning experiences.

I am thrilled to announce that results of the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) assessment showed that we earned a school letter grade of “A.” This is an AMAZING accomplishment, achieved through the hard work and dedication of students, staff and families.  Our goal is to maintain our “A" and we will be diligent and laser-focused in our efforts. Game On!

Sanders Park Elementary is a Communication and Broadcasting Magnet School. Students in kindergarten through fifth-grade experience a rich curriculum that includes debate, public speaking, research, broadcasting, and journalism. Please call if you are interested in the program and would like a personalized tour.  Our Debate Club students have earned numerous medals through district competition events.

We recognize that to be successful in school, our children need support from both the home and school. A strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. We greatly appreciate the support and encourage all our families to become more engaged in the Sanders Park Elementary community. Your attendance at School Advisory Council (SAC), PTA, school events, and even volunteering is needed as we continue to strengthen the home-school partnership. It truly does take a village!
