Elementary, middle, and high school students working at their group levels in a club
  • Clubs and organizations are a great way to help develop character and the skills that will benefit you in school, your career, and in life. Skills like commitment, leadership, effective communication, and being able to work successfully in a group all come from participating in a club or organization. Joining a club is a great way to make friends, develop leadership skills, and boost your college resumé.

  • Chorus

Under the direction of Music Educator, Theida Dansby, SPE's Chorus consists of talented 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students. Our school chorus performs at school events and programs. Chorus students are asked to maintain a "C" average and report cards are checked each marking period. This rich experience acts as a stepping stone for students to continue their musical journey in middle and high school.

  • SECME

Students on the SECME Team receive focused instruction in the development of STEM skills along with engaging application of new knowledge through designing, building, and testing mousetrap cars, water bottle rockets, designing a banner and essay writing. Students on the SECME Team participate in a competition hosted by Broward STEM each school year. Practice takes place on Fridays from 2:00pm to 3:30pm.
