  • Clubs and organizations are a great way to help develop character and the skills that will benefit you in school, your career, and in life. Skills like commitment, leadership, effective communication, and being able to work successfully in a group all come from participating in a club or organization. Joining a club is a great way to make friends, develop leadership skills, and boost your college resumé.

  • Mathletes

    MatheletesMathletes
    Mathletes are an elite group of student mathematicians in grades 4 and 5 who work on developing their intuitive thinking skills and strategies for solving high-order math problems. Some participants even go on to compete in the annual Broward County Council of Teachers of Mathematics (BCCTM) competition against students from all around the district. They have both individual and group competitions. Here at FHE, we are very proud of the amount of time these mathletes put into perfecting their skills.

  • Planeteers

    Planeteers Advisor: Ms. Bitton
    Planeteers is FHE's gardening club.  Students learn how to grow different crops and care for their environment while making real-world applications. Planeteers provide students the opportunity to get outside and  learn about nature. 

  • Recycling

    Recycling PAWS
    The PAWS club works to improve the environmental quality of our beloved school by reducing, reusing, and recycling. 
    They work hard to help Forest Hills in our continued effort to go green.

  • Safety Patrol

    Safety Patrol - Advisor:  Ms. Clark
    FHE School Safety Patrol program instills students with a sense of responsibility, leadership, and citizenship. They assist their school classmates by ensuring their safety in the hallways, cafeteria, and other areas on campus.

  • Student Council

    Student Council
    Students are elected by their peers to serve on the Student Council.  Each member of the Student Council gets the opportunity to actively participate in school-wide activities, make decisions, and see democracy in action. The Council might create publicity about school events, promote school pride, start fundraising programs, or other school events and activities. Student Council members will gain leadership skills, experience working as a team, take increased pride in their school community, gain responsibility, increase interaction/communication skills with students and adults, and will ultimately have the opportunity to become excellent citizens and leaders within their school community.
